Live Event Illustration Brings That Extra Magic

I’m Tanya, an illustrator and art teacher with a love for drawing and all things combining text and image in a way that satisfies the eye and gets useful information stuck in the brain.

I’m on a mission to make information accessible, joyful and memorable.

I’m the kid who won those handwriting competitions in primary school; I LOVED it when we had to write up Welsh poems and enter them into the Eisteddfod (the sounds of everyone else’s huffs of despair wasn’t putting me off). My GCSE art teacher used to say I should be a sign writer, and now I know why. (Little me would be chuffed that I’m doing this!)

Armed with my superpower to organise and draw information, I can help you get your message out into the world loud and clear.

Say Hi

“If you’re looking for a live illustrator to capture the spirit, energy, and heart of your event, Tanya’s your woman. I brought her in to live illustrate the showcase for my public speaking intensive, Star Power, and she absolutely nailed it. She played with our brand colours like a pro: fun, vibrant, and full of life. She stuck to the brief, turned everything around lightning fast, and was a total joy to work with. All the speakers were raving about how perfectly she captured their talks.

Love her style? Trust your gut. Book her while she’s got space in her calendar!”

Hand-drawn illustrations, text, and color schemes highlight these themes.

Visual notes and infographics have a well earned reputation for being a very effective way to communicate, summarise or walk you through something step-by-step. Hand drawn one-of-a-kind visuals give information personality and are sharable, joyful and versatile. They are a fantastic way to scaffold understanding of a concept, new skill or technique and they offer several cognitive benefits and improve memory retention. They are also much more likely to be revisited than pages of mind-numbing text!
